A leading contracting company in Riyadh is looking for a QA/QC Manager – Civil to manage construction quality and make sure site work follows approved drawings, specifications, codes, and safety requirements.
Main Responsibilities
Before Construction
- Review construction drawings, plans, specifications, and project requirements.
- Take part in site inspections and pre-construction meetings.
- Review material requirements and related documentation.
- Assist with permits and other project paperwork.
During Construction
- Monitor civil construction work against approved drawings and specifications.
- Inspect construction materials and workmanship.
- Check concrete and other construction activities for quality compliance.
- Identify quality issues, discrepancies, and safety concerns and report them.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams.
- Maintain quality records, inspection reports, and progress documentation.
- Help resolve site quality and construction problems.
Project Completion
- Support final inspections and punch list work.
- Check and organize as-built drawings and project documents.
- Assist with project closeout and final paperwork.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of civil construction materials, methods, and quality control
- Ability to read and understand construction drawings and specifications
- Knowledge of applicable building codes and safety regulations
- Experience with QA/QC inspections and construction quality procedures
- Good communication and coordination skills
- Strong problem-solving and attention to detail
- Ability to work with engineers, subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams
