A company in Dammam is hiring an experienced MIG/TIG Welder with hands-on skills in Argon and CO₂ welding. The job involves welding and preparing metal parts while meeting required quality standards.
Main Duties
- Perform TIG (Argon) and MIG/MAG (CO₂) welding on mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminum.
- Set welding machines based on material type, thickness, and job requirements.
- Select the correct welding wire, filler rods, and shielding gas.
- Prepare joints by cleaning, grinding, and beveling materials.
- Produce clean and accurate welds according to drawings and specifications.
- Check welds for defects such as porosity, cracks, and undercuts and repair them when required.
- Clean and maintain welding machines, cables, torches, and gas regulators.
- Check gas flow and handle welding cylinders safely.
- Report damaged equipment or machine problems to the supervisor.
Required Skills
- Good hands-on experience with TIG, MIG, and MAG welding.
- Ability to read welding symbols, fabrication drawings, and blueprints.
- Knowledge of mild steel, stainless steel, aluminum, and other metals.
- Understanding of weld penetration, bead quality, and visual weld inspection.
- Basic cutting, grinding, and fitting skills.

Qualifications
