Education and Experience
Candidates should have:
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
- Previous experience in IT technical support, system administration, or IT infrastructure
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server and network systems
- Good problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to handle several technical issues and work independently
Main Responsibilities
The IT Technician will be responsible for:
- Installing and troubleshooting computers, printers, scanners, IP phones, switches, and other IT equipment
- Providing first- and second-line technical support through onsite, remote, phone, and ticketing channels
- Managing Windows operating systems, applications, antivirus, and other software
- Managing Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and Domain Controllers
- Maintaining LAN/WAN networks, routers, switches, VPNs, firewalls, and network security
- Supporting Cisco IP telephony and other network devices
- Handling server, workstation, and system backups
- Supporting disaster recovery procedures
- Managing antivirus, firewalls, proxy servers, and access controls
- Supporting company websites, domains, hosting, and email services
- Maintaining IT records, SOPs, licenses, vendor details, and infrastructure documents
- Monitoring CCTV systems and coordinating with vendors for technical problems
- Managing biometric attendance machines and related software
- Registering employees, synchronizing attendance data, preparing reports, and fixing attendance system issues
- Working with HR and Administration to resolve attendance record problems
- Coordinating with IT vendors and service providers
- Supporting IT procurement and ongoing IT projects
- Keeping company IT systems secure, stable, and operational
