Education
Candidates should have:
- BE / BTech in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or an equivalent qualification.
Required Experience and Skills
Applicants should have 4–8 years of experience working with:
- Electrical products
- Instrumentation products
- Mechanical products
- Control products
- Automation and control systems
Good communication and interpersonal skills are required. Candidates should also be comfortable using MS Office for reports, proposals, presentations, documents, and business correspondence.
Main Responsibilities
The Sales Engineer will handle:
- Preparing proposals, reports, tenders, and quotations
- Finding new business opportunities
- Planning and conducting sales visits
- Developing sales in industrial and commercial markets
- Building and maintaining client relationships
- Regular customer visits and follow-up
- Product presentations and replacement solutions
- Product and service prequalification
- Supporting pre-sales and post-sales activities
- Managing assigned product sales, accessories, and related services
- Preparing regular sales and customer reports
- Working toward sales targets using suitable sales strategies
