Main Responsibilities
Team Supervision
- Assign daily cleaning duties to cleaners and housekeeping staff.
- Prepare staff shift schedules and rosters.
- Conduct daily team briefings.
- Monitor staff performance and make sure assigned work is completed properly.
Multi-Site Operations
- Travel between different facilities for inspections.
- Drive company vehicles to different work locations.
- Transport urgent cleaning equipment and supplies.
- Move cleaning staff between sites when required.
- Support cleaning teams working across multiple locations.
Cleaning Quality & Hygiene
- Inspect rooms, hallways, and common areas regularly.
- Check that cleaning work meets company standards.
- Ensure proper hygiene, health, safety, and sanitation practices.
- Carry out hands-on cleaning or inspection work when needed.
Cleaning Supplies & Inventory
- Monitor stocks of cleaning chemicals, tools, and linens.
- Arrange orders when supplies are running low.
- Keep supply rooms and storage areas properly stocked.
- Manage the movement of cleaning materials between sites.
Maintenance Coordination
- Report damaged fixtures and other maintenance problems.
- Report plumbing and electrical issues to the maintenance team.
- Follow up on reported repairs and track their progress.
Staff Training
- Train new cleaners and housekeeping staff.
- Teach proper handling of cleaning chemicals.
- Train employees to use cleaning equipment correctly.
- Explain company cleaning procedures and workplace protocols.
Requirements
- 2–3 years of experience in commercial cleaning, housekeeping, or facility management.
- At least 1 year of supervisory experience.
- Valid local driving license with a clean driving record.
- Experience driving light vehicles or minibuses if required.
- Good organizational and communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving ability.
- Physically fit enough to stand, walk, inspect sites, and perform cleaning duties when required.
