A construction company in Bahrain is looking for an experienced MEP Coordinator to coordinate and monitor MEP activities across construction projects. The role covers mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, fire protection, and related building services and requires strong site coordination skills.

Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate MEP works with architectural, structural, civil, and other construction activities.
- Review MEP drawings, shop drawings, layouts, and technical specifications.
- Coordinate with MEP engineers, supervisors, subcontractors, consultants, and site teams.
- Monitor installation of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and other MEP systems.
- Identify and resolve site coordination problems and technical clashes.
- Ensure MEP works follow approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and project requirements.
- Coordinate material requirements, deliveries, and site availability with procurement and project teams.
- Follow up on inspections, testing, commissioning, and rectification of MEP works.
- Monitor project progress and report delays, technical issues, and site requirements to project management.
- Assist with RFIs, material submittals, inspection requests, and other project documents.
- Coordinate with subcontractors to ensure work is completed according to the project schedule.
- Ensure compliance with Bahrain construction regulations, safety requirements, and quality standards.
- Conduct regular site inspections and coordinate snagging and rectification works.
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, MEP Engineering, or a related field.
- Previous experience as an MEP Coordinator, MEP Engineer, or MEP Supervisor in construction.
- Experience in building projects such as villas, residential, commercial, or high-rise buildings.
- Good knowledge of MEP systems, construction practices, drawings, and site coordination.
- Ability to read and understand mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and fire protection drawings.
- Strong coordination and communication skills.
- Knowledge of construction safety and quality requirements.
- Bahrain experience is preferred.
- Must currently be available in Bahrain.
- Immediate joining is preferred.
