Key Responsibilities
- Develop interior design concepts, layouts, and space plans for residential and commercial projects.
- Prepare detailed interior design drawings, shop drawings, elevations, sections, and finishing details.
- Review architectural drawings and coordinate interior requirements with architectural, structural, and MEP teams.
- Select and specify suitable materials, finishes, furniture, fixtures, and other interior elements.
- Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams for proper execution of interior works.
- Conduct regular site visits and check interior works against approved drawings and specifications.
- Review material samples, mock-ups, and shop drawings to ensure they meet project requirements.
- Identify design discrepancies and coordinate required revisions with the project team.
- Assist with material selection, quantity requirements, and cost considerations.
- Ensure interior works meet required quality, safety, and project standards.
- Prepare presentations, mood boards, and design proposals when required.
- Maintain proper records of drawings, revisions, material approvals, and site instructions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an Interior Designer, preferably in the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of interior finishes, materials, furniture, fixtures, and construction methods.
- Ability to read and understand architectural and construction drawings.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and relevant interior design software.
- Knowledge of 3D visualization software such as SketchUp, 3ds Max, Revit, or similar is an advantage.
- Good understanding of construction detailing and site execution.
- Strong coordination and communication skills.
- Able to work independently and coordinate effectively with site and project teams.
- Bahrain experience is preferred.
- Must be locally available in Bahrain.
- Immediate joining is preferred.
