Main Duties
The Foreman will be responsible for managing workers and making sure daily site work is completed properly.
Key duties include:
- Supervise fiber optic cable laying work
- Manage workers and assign daily tasks
- Coordinate site activities with the supervisor and engineers
- Support civil works such as excavation, duct laying, and backfilling
- Read and understand construction drawings
- Read DPS drawings and follow the required layouts
- Monitor daily work progress at the site
- Report site updates, issues, and progress to supervisors and engineers
- Make sure workers follow site instructions and safe work practices
Requirements
Candidates should have:
- 1–3 years of relevant experience
- Practical experience in fiber optic cable laying
- Knowledge of civil construction work
- Understanding of excavation, duct installation, and backfilling
- Ability to read construction drawings
- Ability to understand DPS drawings
- Good worker supervision and site coordination skills
