Main Responsibilities
The Dental Assistant will work closely with the dentist and help with patient care and daily clinic work.
Duties include:
- Assisting the dentist during dental procedures
- Preparing dental instruments and treatment rooms
- Cleaning and sterilizing dental instruments
- Preparing patients before treatment
- Supporting patients during and after procedures
- Preparing dental materials and equipment
- Following infection control and hygiene procedures
- Maintaining accurate patient records
- Following clinic policies and work procedures
- Working with the dental team to support smooth patient care
Requirements
Candidates should have:
- A Diploma or Certificate in Dental Assisting or a related qualification
- Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is preferred
- Knowledge of basic dental procedures
- Good understanding of infection control and sterilization
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well with dentists and other clinic staff
- A professional and responsible approach to patient care
- Valid NHRA license or eligibility is preferred
