Main Responsibilities
The Electrical Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible for keeping plastic manufacturing machinery running safely and efficiently.
Key duties include:
- Troubleshoot electrical and control problems in plastic manufacturing machinery
- Maintain and repair injection molding machines and related equipment
- Identify electrical faults and carry out necessary repairs
- Work with PLC control systems and industrial automation equipment
- Set up, troubleshoot, and maintain VFD drives
- Plan and carry out preventive maintenance schedules
- Support regular machine inspections and servicing
- Plan equipment calibration programs where required
- Reduce machine downtime through proper maintenance and troubleshooting
- Monitor machinery performance and help improve equipment efficiency
- Maintain maintenance records, service reports, and machine logs
- Manage maintenance tools, spare parts, and inventory
- Make sure maintenance work follows workplace safety rules
- Guide maintenance technicians and coordinate daily maintenance activities when required

What the Role Covers
This is a hands-on maintenance position rather than a general supervisory role. The successful candidate will need to understand the electrical and control systems used in plastic manufacturing equipment and be able to troubleshoot machinery when production problems occur.
