Job Responsibilities
The selected candidate will handle daily procurement work and coordinate with suppliers and project teams.
Main duties include:
- Finding and contacting suppliers for mechanical and electrical materials.
- Preparing and sending RFQs (Request for Quotations).
- Collecting supplier quotations and comparing prices and technical details.
- Negotiating prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
- Preparing and following up on purchase orders (POs).
- Tracking material orders and delivery dates.
- Coordinating with vendors and maintaining good supplier relationships.
- Checking material availability and following up on pending items.
- Supporting procurement for MEP and construction projects.
- Maintaining procurement records and documents.
- Using MS Excel for quotations, purchase records, and supplier information.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Candidates should have:
- B.Tech or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- 1–3 years of experience in procurement or purchasing.
- Experience in MEP, fit-out, construction, or building projects is preferred.
- Good knowledge of mechanical and electrical materials.
- Basic understanding of MEP systems and equipment.
- Experience with supplier sourcing and vendor management.
- Knowledge of RFQs, quotation comparison, negotiation, and purchase orders.
- Good follow-up and coordination skills.
- Good knowledge of procurement documentation and MS Excel.
- Good English communication skills.
