Main Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair modern diesel engines
- Maintain and repair automated transmissions and drivetrain systems
- Find and repair electrical and electronic faults
- Use diagnostic equipment to identify vehicle problems
- Perform ECU programming when required
- Maintain and repair fuel injection systems
- Check and maintain exhaust after-treatment systems
- Repair and maintain hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Maintain air brake systems
- Inspect and repair trailer suspension systems
- Carry out regular maintenance to keep trailers safe and roadworthy
Required Technical Skills
Candidates should have practical experience with:
