Main Responsibilities
- Carry out QA/QC inspections for power generation and transmission and distribution networks up to 380kV
- Develop, review, and implement quality inspection procedures
- Review quality documents for different project stages
- Perform quality inspections during:
- Design review
- Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT)
- Site Acceptance Testing (SAT)
- Installation
- Commissioning
- Operation
- Maintenance
- Decommissioning
- Check compliance with project specifications, Saudi standards, and international standards
- Perform quality audits and compliance checks
- Identify quality gaps and recommend corrective actions
- Support quality verification and inspection activities throughout the asset life cycle
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in the relevant engineering field
- Saudi Council of Engineers membership is highly preferred
- 15–20 years of total engineering experience
- At least 5 years of Middle East experience
- Experience in power generation and transmission & distribution networks up to 380kV
- Experience with Saudi Electricity, GCC utilities, or similar power operators is preferred
- Strong experience in QA/QC inspection and quality assurance
- Knowledge of inspection methods, quality audits, compliance checks, and gap analysis
- Experience preparing and reviewing quality inspection procedures and documents
- Good knowledge of Saudi standards and specifications
- Knowledge of international standards and industry best practices
- Strong working knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems
- Knowledge of ISO 55001 Asset Management
- Professional English communication skills, both written and spoken
- Arabic language is an advantage but not required
