Main Responsibilities
The Accountant will handle day-to-day accounting and financial activities, including:
- Managing Accounts Payable (AP)
- Managing Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Preparing and checking invoices
- Performing bank reconciliations
- Recording and maintaining general accounting entries
- Supporting regular financial procedures
- Maintaining accurate accounting records
- Following accounting controls and company procedures
- Completing assigned accounting work within deadlines
Requirements
Candidates must have:
- At least 3 years of accounting experience in Bahrain
- Previous accounting experience in a real estate development and construction company
- Good knowledge of accounting principles
- Understanding of financial procedures
- Practical experience with AP, AR, invoicing, bank reconciliation, and general accounting
- Good knowledge of MS Excel
- Experience using accounting software
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Good communication and organizational skills
Important Industry Requirement
Experience with a real estate development and construction company is mandatory for this role. Candidates without this type of industry experience may not meet the requirement.
