A company in Bahrain is looking for a BIM & Engineering Assistant with experience in Building Information Modeling and engineering systems. The role supports BIM coordination, technical drawings, site work, and construction activities.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum 3 years of BIM experience
- Good working knowledge of Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD
- Revit MEP knowledge is an advantage
- Strong understanding of plumbing, drainage, and electrical systems
- Experience with BIM coordination, clash detection, and model federation
- Knowledge of BIM standards, Level of Development (LOD), and project documentation
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Able to work with different engineering and construction teams
Main Duties
- Help prepare coordinated shop drawings
- Assist with material submittals
- Support BIM coordination and clash detection
- Attend site visits and provide technical support during construction
- Join project coordination and site meetings when required
- Help maintain project BIM models and documentation
Preferred Experience
Experience working on sports facilities, swimming pools, splash pads, or water features will be an advantage.
