A construction company in Bahrain is looking for an experienced MEP Construction Engineer to manage mechanical, electrical, and plumbing works on high-rise buildings, large villas, commercial projects, and other large construction sites.
Job Responsibilities
- Manage MEP construction work from planning through installation, testing, and commissioning
- Oversee HVAC, electrical, plumbing, drainage, and fire protection systems
- Lead MEP engineers, supervisors, and technicians on site
- Review MEP designs, specifications, technical requirements, and cost estimates
- Make sure installations follow approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and project schedules
- Carry out regular site inspections and solve technical and construction issues
- Coordinate MEP works with architects, structural engineers, civil engineers, project managers, consultants, and clients
- Manage MEP subcontractors and monitor their work, quality, and progress
- Review shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, RFIs, and technical submissions
- Track MEP construction progress and project milestones
- Ensure MEP works comply with Bahrain building codes, safety rules, authority requirements, and environmental standards
- Prepare MEP progress reports
- Support MEP project budget, schedule, and resource management
- Coordinate testing, commissioning, and handover of MEP systems
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, MEP Engineering, or a related field
- Strong experience in MEP construction projects
- Experience with high-rise buildings, large villas, commercial buildings, or major residential projects is preferred
- Good knowledge of MEP drawings, construction coordination, site execution, testing, and commissioning
- Strong understanding of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, drainage, and fire protection systems
- Bahrain construction experience is highly preferred
- Good leadership, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills
- Able to manage MEP teams and subcontractors
- Immediate joiners are preferred
- Must currently be available in Bahrain
