Job Description
A company in Bahrain is hiring an experienced MEP Supervisor with a strong background in building construction and MEP site work.
The role involves supervising daily Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) activities, managing site teams, coordinating with engineers and subcontractors, and making sure work follows approved drawings, project schedules, quality standards, and safety requirements.
Main Duties
- Supervise daily MEP installation work on construction sites
- Oversee mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, drainage, and firefighting work
- Read and understand MEP drawings, shop drawings, layouts, and technical documents
- Coordinate MEP work with civil, structural, architectural, and finishing teams
- Supervise technicians, workers, and subcontractors
- Monitor site progress, manpower, materials, and equipment
- Carry out regular site inspections
- Check the quality and workmanship of MEP installations
- Identify and solve site issues, clashes, and installation problems
- Follow up on snagging, testing, commissioning, and handover work
- Ensure construction work follows safety procedures and project requirements
- Prepare daily progress and manpower reports
- Coordinate with engineers, consultants, contractors, and project management
Job Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, MEP Engineering, or a related technical field
- 3–5+ years of MEP supervision experience in construction
- Strong building construction background
- Hands-on MEP site experience is required
- Experience in villa, residential, commercial, or high-rise construction is highly preferred
- Good knowledge of:
- HVAC systems
- Electrical systems
- Plumbing
- Drainage
- Firefighting
- Other building services
- Ability to read and understand MEP shop drawings and technical documents
- Experience managing subcontractors and construction site teams
- Good knowledge of site coordination, quality control, and HSE requirements
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Good coordination and problem-solving skills
- Must be currently available in Bahrain
- Immediate joiners are strongly preferred
Important Information
Candidates with a strong building construction and MEP site background will be given priority.
Candidates whose experience is mainly in maintenance or facilities management, without hands-on construction experience, may not be considered.
