CSI Global is looking for a Senior Business Development Engineer to grow its Commissioning (Cx), Independent Commissioning Agent (ICA), TAB, and MEP consultancy services in the Saudi market.
This role is suited to an engineering professional who understands both MEP technical services and business development and has strong contacts with EPC contractors, PMCs, consultants, and developers in KSA.
What You Will Do
Business Development
- Find, qualify, and secure contracts for Commissioning, TAB, and MEP consultancy services.
- Build relationships with decision-makers and technical teams at EPC contractors, PMCs, consultants, and developers.
- Present CSI Global’s ICA and Cx Management services to potential clients.
- Develop new business opportunities across the Saudi construction market.
Client & Technical Solutions
- Review client requirements, project specifications, and technical needs.
- Work with the Tendering and Technical teams to prepare competitive proposals.
- Develop engineering service solutions based on each project’s requirements.
- Present technical and commercial proposals to senior-level clients.
- Explain complex MEP, commissioning, and engineering services in a clear business-focused way.
- Highlight relevant certifications and services, including NEBB, NETA, and LEED.
Commercial & Market Development
- Lead commercial negotiations according to company policies and approval limits.
- Follow upcoming KSA mega-projects, construction market trends, and regulatory changes.
- Maintain sales pipelines, CRM records, and sales forecasts.
- Track opportunities from initial contact through contract award.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
- 10+ years of overall professional experience in the GCC.
- At least 5 years of solid KSA market experience.
- Background in engineering services business development, technical consultancy, or PMC.
- Good working knowledge of Independent Commissioning Agent (ICA) and Commissioning (Cx) processes.
- Strong understanding of MEP systems and commissioning services.
- Knowledge of KSA tendering procedures and contracting practices.
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and client management skills.
- Ability to turn technical engineering requirements into practical commercial solutions.
- Native Arabic speaker with professional English skills, both written and spoken.
- Valid Saudi driving license.
- Willingness to travel across Saudi Arabia.
