IH Tech is looking for an experienced Industrial Hygienist to work in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The candidate should have strong experience in workplace health and safety, industrial hygiene monitoring, exposure assessment, and the use of IH testing equipment.
Experience in petrochemical, refinery, fertilizer, or chemical manufacturing environments is preferred.
Job Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of Industrial Hygiene experience
- Experience in one or more of these industries:
- Petrochemical
- Oil refining
- Fertilizer
- Chemical manufacturing
- Experience conducting workplace exposure and hazard assessments
- Good knowledge of industrial hygiene monitoring methods and safety procedures
- Ability to perform both qualitative and quantitative hazard assessments
Industrial Hygiene Experience
The candidate should have experience with:
- Heat stress monitoring
- Noise surveys and noise exposure monitoring
- Chemical exposure monitoring
- Workplace lighting surveys
- Ergonomic assessments
- Occupational exposure assessment and workplace hazard evaluation
IH Equipment Experience
Hands-on experience with Industrial Hygiene instruments is required, including:
- Sound level meters
- Personal and area sampling pumps
- Multi-gas monitors
- Lux meters
- Photo-Ionization Detectors (PIDs)
- Other industrial hygiene monitoring and sampling equipment
The candidate should also understand the calibration, operation, maintenance, and proper use of IH monitoring instruments.
Additional Experience
Experience supporting the following programs will be an advantage:
- Respiratory protection programs
- Respirator fit testing
- Breathing air systems
- Workplace exposure monitoring
- Industrial hygiene records and reports
