What You Will Teach
The trainer will follow the academy’s Interior Design Program and teach students across different stages, from foundation skills to portfolio development.
Training areas include:
- Interior design fundamentals and design principles
- Space planning and functional layouts
- Floor plans and layout development
- Mood boards and concept development
- Color theory and interior color schemes
- Material selection and interior finishes
- AutoCAD drafting
- SketchUp 3D modeling
- 3DS Max and 3D visualization
- Interior design presentations
- Client communication
- Project documentation
- Portfolio development
Main Responsibilities
- Conduct structured interior design classes based on the academy’s course plan
- Explain design concepts using practical examples and real projects
- Guide students through hands-on interior design assignments
- Help students develop design concepts, layouts, drawings, and presentations
- Use case studies and real-life project situations during training
- Review student work and provide useful feedback
- Guide students in creating a professional interior design portfolio
- Help students understand how interior design projects are handled in professional practice
- Mentor students on CV preparation, interviews, and career development
- Keep training aligned with current interior design methods and industry standards
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field is preferred
- 2–3 years of professional experience in an interior design or architecture firm
- 1–2+ years of experience as a trainer, instructor, teacher, or mentor
- Strong portfolio showing recent interior design projects
- Good working knowledge of:
- AutoCAD
- SketchUp
- 3DS Max
- Other relevant interior design and visualization software
- Strong English communication skills
- Good presentation and teaching skills
- Able to explain design ideas clearly to students
- Must be currently living in Riyadh
