Candidates should have hands-on experience with waste management, hazardous waste, environmental operations, and waste storage procedures.
Job Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in waste management, environmental operations, or hazardous waste handling
- Experience working in industrial facilities is required
- Diploma or Associate Degree in one of the following:
- Environmental Science
- Environmental Technology
- Industrial Safety
- Chemical Technology
- Environmental or related technical field
- Hazardous Waste Management certification is an advantage
- Other relevant environmental training certificates will also be considered
Technical Knowledge
Candidates should have a good understanding of:
- Hazardous and non-hazardous waste management
- Waste classification and identification
- Waste labeling and packaging
- Waste compatibility and segregation
- Safe waste storage requirements
- Waste collection and handling procedures
- Waste minimization and recycling
- Environmental Management Systems (EMS)
- Industrial environmental practices
- Saudi environmental regulations
- Royal Commission Environmental Regulations (RCER)
Job Responsibilities
The role may involve supporting day-to-day waste and environmental activities, including:
- Handling and managing industrial waste according to approved procedures
- Identifying and classifying different types of waste
- Checking waste labels, containers, packaging, and storage areas
- Making sure incompatible wastes are properly separated
- Supporting hazardous waste handling and storage
- Following environmental and workplace safety requirements
- Maintaining proper waste records and documentation
- Supporting recycling and waste reduction activities
- Following company procedures, EMS requirements, and applicable Saudi regulations
