An employer in Saudi Arabia is looking for an experienced Process Safety Engineer for a long-term rental position. Candidates should meet the required industrial experience and process safety background.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of relevant industrial experience
- Experience in oil & gas, petrochemical, power, or heavy industrial facilities is preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, Safety Engineering, or a related field
- Experience supporting Turnaround (TA), Shutdown, Startup, Commissioning, or T&I activities
- Strong knowledge of Process Hazard Analysis (PHA)
- Experience with HAZOP and HAZID reviews
- Good knowledge of Risk Assessment and Job Safety Analysis (JSA)
- Experience with Management of Change (MOC)
- Knowledge of Incident Investigation and Root Cause Analysis
- Valid Ajeer and Chamber documents
Key Process Safety Areas
The selected engineer should be able to support process safety activities related to hazard identification, risk assessment, plant shutdowns, commissioning, incident investigation, and industrial safety management.
