Main Job Responsibilities
Depending on the position, duties may include:
- Operating and monitoring Solar PV power generation systems
- Preventive maintenance of solar panels, inverters, trackers and Balance of Plant (BoP) equipment
- Corrective maintenance and troubleshooting of plant equipment
- Monitoring plant performance through SCADA and EMS systems
- Operation and maintenance of electrical substations and grid connection systems
- Finding electrical and equipment faults and carrying out repairs
- Following preventive maintenance schedules
- Maintaining plant equipment availability and reliability
- Preparing maintenance reports and keeping proper records
- Following HSE and site safety requirements
- Supporting safe and continuous operation of the solar power plant
- Following applicable SEC, ECRA and Saudi regulations
Candidate Requirements
Candidates should have:
- Relevant technical or engineering qualification for the position
- Experience in Solar PV Plant O&M, power generation, electrical systems or similar industrial projects
- Good knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance
- Experience with SCADA/EMS and plant monitoring systems for relevant engineering and control room roles
- Knowledge of electrical substations, grid systems and related equipment for relevant positions
- Good understanding of HSE and safe working practices
- Good communication and reporting skills
- Ability to work at a remote solar PV plant site
- Ability to work in a project-based environment
