Job Responsibilities
The Pump Assembler will work with pumps and related mechanical equipment. The work may include:
- Assembling pumps and pump components.
- Fitting and installing pump parts.
- Checking pump components before assembly.
- Using hand tools and workshop tools for assembly work.
- Following drawings, measurements, and work instructions.
- Checking alignment and fitting of pump parts.
- Assisting with pump testing and inspection.
- Finding basic assembly or fitting problems and reporting them.
- Following site and workshop safety rules.
Required Experience
Candidates with experience in pump assembly, mechanical equipment, rotating equipment, pump maintenance, or industrial mechanical work are preferred.
Knowledge of different pump parts, mechanical tools, fitting work, and pump installation will be useful for this position.
